She’ll oversee teams tasked with providing clients personalized, scalable content across multiple audiences and
channels. Leona will be a key asset in that effort, the firm said, noting the connected Identity and
audience data at its core, designed to drive content across paid, earned, shared and owned channels.
Velury was most
recently chief technology & transformation officer at sibling company Epsilon, focusing on audience strategy and connected identity solutions. She was previously chair and chief operating
officer at Tag, the global production operation now owned by Dentsu.
Publicis Groupe CEO Arthur Sadoun said the firm's
production activities, which he described as “the industry’s largest,” are now growing by double digits. “With her
deep tech knowledge, expertise in data and craft, along with her recent experience at Epsilon, I have no doubt that Deepti is the right leader to take production at Publicis to
even greater heights.”
