More College Football Stars Join Samsung's Team Galaxy

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik and Notre Dane running back Jeremiyah Love are the latest members of Team Galaxy, joining fellow star college athlete Flau’jae Johnson, a guard for LSU’s basketball team who is also a rapper. “Team Galaxy” also includes WNBA stars Napheesa Collier, Kate Martin, and Breanna Stewart.

The partnership kicks off with a new campaign featuring Love and Klubnik, promoting the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy AI 2 technology, running across connected TV, online video, including on ESPN platforms, and on social media channels including Meta platforms and TikTok.

A launch ad showcases Love’s use of the foldable device in his training, using Galaxy features like hands-free video, along with Google Gemini, to record video during a training drill, and track his steps as he runs the bleachers. The spot concludes with a tagline asking, “Can your phone do that?” before a graphic notes Galaxy as “The official smartphone of the NCAA.”

Samsung has not yet responded to a question about the extent of its partnerships with Love and Klubnik. The brand added women’s college basketball star Flau’jae Johnson to “Team Galaxy” back in March
