A Candle That Smells Like Italian Vineyards: Josh Cellars, Hotel Lobby Collab

A popular wine brand is tapping into the beauty of Italy’s vineyards and countryside for its latest luxury collaboration.

Josh Cellars has teamed up with Hotel Lobby Candle, a home fragrance company inspired by the scents of five-star hotels, to craft a Josh Cellars Prosecco candle.

Launched to coincide with holiday gift giving, the collaboration was inspired by the vineyards of the Northern Italian countryside, capturing the “celebratory wine and its origin in fragrance form,” according to the brands.  The scent is described as “bright, airy …with notes of lemon zest, ripe plum and soft florals.”

The collaboration between the brands came about after Hotel Lobby Candle founder Lindsay Silberman visited Italy's Prosecco region and the winery where Josh Cellars prosecco is produced. Silberman says she was inspired by “the vineyard's rolling hills, morning mist, and the golden-hour sparkle of the countryside.”

"Josh Cellars wines are made to create moments worth sharing, and our partnership with Hotel Lobby Candle and Lindsay Silberman is a new way to do just that," says Josh Cellars Founder Joseph Carr. "This collab offers people a new, thoughtful way to elevate their everyday -- bringing together two brands that are all about connection [and] celebration."

The brand has released the candle as part of the Hotel Lobby Candle x Josh Cellars Prosecco Set, which is exclusively sold on ReserveBar.com for $75, and includes both the candle and a bottle of prosecco. The candle is also available for purchase on its own for $58 at the Josh Cellars and Hotel Lobby websites.

Both brands are promoting the Hotel Lobby Candle via their social media platforms.

Josh Cellars was acquired by Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits in 2012. The brand was founded by Carr in 2007 and named after his army veteran and lumberjack father.
