50 Cent Teams Up With Lalique For Latest Cognac Release

Grammy-Award-winning musician Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson partnered with a famous French glass maker on his latest cognac release, whose purchase also grants access to an exclusive club.

The hip hop legend’s Sire Spirits and French crystal glass house Lalique Group released 505 Edition Branson Cognac, a blended Hors d'Age cognac housed in a handcrafted crystal carafe from Lalique. The rollout is limited to 505 hand-etched and individually numbered bottles.

Not just anyone can get their hands on the rare Grande Champagne cognac. Purchase of the Branson 505 Edition is by invitation only and starts with a $5,000 donation to The G-Unity Foundation, 50 Cent’s nonprofit that seeks to empower underserved communities. After the initial donation, donors get the opportunity to reserve their specific bottle number and have 30 days to complete their purchase -- for an additional $20,000.

Those who do purchase are also then granted admittance to the 505 Society, which is described as a “virtual private club that promotes networking and philanthropy through private experiences and international events.” Members receive: a custom hand-crafted Lalique coin and digital NFT; invitations to VIP events, concerts, and sporting experiences in 50 Cent’s private suites; Lalique travel invitations and private experiences, and priority access to future limited offerings from Sire Spirits and Lalique. Membership will be complimentary for two years, then is renewable thereafter with an additional $5,000 annual donation.

The bottle itself was inspired by Lalique's early 20th-century perfume bottles, made with blown and pinched glass, which is then cut, engraved, polished and signed by hand. Each bottle comes in a bespoke wood and marble display case with built -n LED lights that activate with an accompanying Branson LionHead key. It also comes with an etched Branson × Lalique plaque, a glass serving pipette and a leather carrying bag.

The brands are promoting the new cognac via their social media platforms.
