Seattle-based creative and media
agency Copacino Fujikado has been awarded both the creative and media contracts for ORCA (One Regional Card for All), the regional transit payment system connecting
multiple transit agencies across Washington’s Puget Sound. The selection followed a competitive pitch.
It wasn’t immediately if there
was an incumbent or who else participated in the pitch. Billings were not disclosed.
“ORCA is making
paying for transit simpler and smarter for our riders,” said Erin O’Connell, Deputy Director of Customer Experience for ORCA. “Copacino Fujikado stood out for their deep
understanding of the Puget Sound region, their strategic creativity, and their ability to engage people on traditional and digital media.”

The remit includes integrated marketing
strategy, brand creative, and media execution. The agency’s upcoming campaign will drive awareness and adoption of the transit payment method.
ORCA is used by millions
of riders across Pacific Northwest systems including Everett Transit, Community Transit, King County Metro, Kitsap Transit, Pierce Transit, Sound Transit and Washington State
Ferries. It offers a single, seamless payment system that unites multiple modes of transportation across the four-county area.
The agency’s client roster also
includes Sound Transit, Revvity Signals and Visit Seattle.
