Bader Rutter Names Industry Veteran Anderson As Its First CMO

Milwaukee-based B2B agency Bader Rutter has tapped Demar Anderson as its first chief marketing officer.

Reporting to CEO David Jordan and based in the agency’s Chicago office, Anderson will amplify how the agency brings ideas to market “building programs that create demand, ignite category conversation and measure what moves revenue for brands in agriculture, food, beverage and pet care,” the agency stated.

Most recently Anderson ran her own marketing consultancy, Muse Momentum. Prior to that she was executive vice president-marketing and business development at marketing agency Current Global, part of Interpublic.

Earlier she served at Stagwell’s Allison as executive vice president-global marketing and business development.

“Modern marketers need partners who don’t just make noise—they move markets,” stated Jordan, who took over the CEO reins at the agency in August. “Demar is here to do exactly that.” He added that she is tasked with connecting the agency’s creative, data and insights for improved outcomes for clients.

Anderson adds, “this is an investment role for Bader to push them towards their goal to be seen as the world’s most admired B2B agency and to help accelerate their impact in agriculture, food and pet care.”

Last month, the agency announced a partnership with the Southern Smoke Foundation designed to help food companies bring better insights to their product development efforts. It was also named global AOR for Ingredion, a global provider of ingredients for the food and beverage industries.
