A new collaboration from Codigo 1530 Tequila and cowboy hat maker Resistol gives George Strait fans not only an opportunity to drink like the country music legend, but also don his signature look as well.

Codigo 1530 tequila, which was co-founded by Strait, has partnered with Resistol on the Cowboy Coffee Cocktail kit, a limited-time offering available through CocktailCourier.com. Along with a bottle of Codigo 1530 Reposado tequila, honey fig syrup and cold brew, the kit contains a voucher to secure a custom fit, limited-edition Codigo 1530 hat by Resistol.

"The cowboy hat is more than just a piece of Western attire — it's a symbol of heritage, hard work, and timeless style. My Resistol hat is more than just a piece of clothing — it's a versatile, essential tool," says Strait in a press release. "I'm proud to combine passion for the cowboy lifestyle with my favorite tequila in this holiday gift.”

Strait, who was recently named a Resistol "Man of the Year," already has the George Strait Collection line of cowboy hats with the company, inspired by his traditional country look of starched blue jeans, pearl snap shirts and a Resistol cowboy hat. The new hat is made from black felt and “adorned with signature brand cues.”

The Cowboy Coffee Cocktail kit is available on CocktailCourier.com in two versions; the Deluxe version for $144.99, which includes the voucher for the hat, and the Classic for $79.99, without the hat. Codigo 1530 is promoting the kit via its Instagram account

The “King of Country” Strait, along with friends Ron Snyder and Federico Vaughan, launched Codigo 1530 in 2016. The tequila is “created at a private distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, and includes Blanco, Rosa, Añejo, Extra Añejo Origen and Reposado varieties. Pernod Ricard acquired the brand in 2022.
