Eli Manning Plays Favorites In 'NYT' Subscription Campaign

Eli Manning claims to be a big fan of The New York Times. In a new campaign, he promotes the newspaper's Family Subscription, which allows up to four individual users access to everything the Times has to offer.

But who will the former Giants QB choose?

The social-media spot highlights his friendly rivalry with brother Peyton and the family dynamics behind this decision.

The work runs across The Times’ and The Athletic’s social channels.

“I can’t prove it, but I’m pretty sure Eli had been mooching off my New York Times log-in for years, so it’s great to see him subscribing for the family,” Cooper Manning told the newspaper. “Now we’ll see if he’s any better at picking family members to include in his subscription than he is at the Connections: Sports Edition puzzle.”

Indy agency Zulu Alpha Kilo New York handled the creative work. It previously produced the Times' “Truth” platform.

The Z.A.K. has also done ad campaigns for Booking.com, Harry’s, Pizza Pizza and Destination BC.

Earlier this year, the New York Liberty’s mascot, Ellie the Elephant and three of her Timeless Torch dancers participated in a similar ad.
