Walrus Goes Foodie Crazy With Grubhub OOH

Grubhub knows the call of hunger must be answered — ASAP.

That's why the Walrus agency tag — "Summon the Food" — for the brand's new ad campaign heightens the immediacy of the request.

The creative runs across digital, CTV, and paid social, supported by outdoor work that includes a giant 3D grilled cheese installation on top of a Chicago bus shelter and hand-painted murals.

The campaign is running in New York and Chicago.

Food is positioned as a must-have emotional gratification at the moment a craving hits. And the moment you order your meal, you sense control and the delight of anticipation.

The TV spots build on the same idea — since customers can be anywhere, at any time. From home to an endless office meeting, Grubhub delivers. Social spots on TikTok and Instagram posit various scenarios, including a couple receiving a bundle of joy, only to discover it's a burrito.

Walrus was named creative agency by Grubhub in May after a competitive review. This is its first brand work for the account.
