A year ago, medical appointment platform Zocdoc launched its “You’ve Got
Options” campaign, whose four commercials included one where two lisping hockey players missing front teeth find a dentist.
The
spot has proven so successful that it’s made the roster again for the second season of “You’ve Got Options,” along with four new commercials.
One of the newbies also
concerns dentists, showcasing a woman about to skydive who’s very nervous -- not about her jump, but about making a dental appointment. In “Falling for the Dentist,” she’s soothed when her jumping
companion helps her find a dentist who’s “gentle and patient” and “helps fears fall away.”

As was the case last year with the hockey player spot, one of this
year’s campaign roster features two men interacting. In “Can I Get a Doc?,” a fast-talking livestock auctioneer admits he does lots of talking but doesn’t feel heard -- so he books a
therapist who will actually listen to him. Zocdoc notes that therapy bookings among men on the platform rose 46% year-over-year in 2025, attributing the increase to current events taking their toll on
both mental and physical health.
The two other rookie ads are:
“Mom Down,” featuring a sick woman beleaguered by her kids who rejects a doctor who would have her “back at home in no time” in
favor of one who doesn’t rush.
“Seeing Eye to
Eye,” with two goth friends rejecting an eye doctor who’s “too smiley,” but booking one who “keeps conversation to a minimum.”
“There’s no such thing as the ‘best’ doctor, but there is a ‘best doctor’ for each patient,” Zocdoc’s, Chief Communications Officer Jessica Aptman
explained in a statement. “We’re showing that Zocdoc doesn’t just make getting care easier, it brings much-needed agency and humanity to the process as well.”
Speaking
of agency, 72andSunny continues as the creative force behind “You’ve Got Options.” Media buyers include Horizon Next for linear TV and streaming TV, and Oxford Road for streaming
audio,
Zocdoc is targeting an audience aged 25+, with linear TV maxing to 49-year-olds.
Linear outlets include ESPN, Bravo, Comedy Central and TBS; streaming examples are Hulu,
Peacock, Paramount+, and Tubi; with Spotify and Pandora among the streaming audio buys.
The campaign goal? “To drive bookings,” Zocdoc tells Marketing Daily. “We
measure this by monitoring response rates and evaluating YoY growth.”
