Squarespace Returns To Super Bowl

Web design platform Squarespace is returning to the Super Bowl in 2026 for its twelfth big game appearance.

The brand shared that it will run a 30-second spot between the first and second quarters of the Super Bowl on Feb. 8. While Squarespace didn’t share concrete details about the ad, it hinted that the “cinematic” spot would continue the brand’s legacy of working with celebrity talent to share a “deeply human story, grounded in a clear and compelling call to action.”

A black and-white teaser image of a building on a small rocky island in the middle of an ocean hints at a continuation of the cinematic storytelling approach, without revealing much else about the ad or what the “call to action” alluded to by the brand might be. The brand also called out past partnerships with such talent as actors Adam Driver and Zendaya, and director Martin Scorsese.

Squarespace has a track record of taking a creative approach to Super Bowl advertising in collaboration with celebrity talent. Last year, Squarespace ran an "A Tale As Old As Websites" ad shot in rural Ireland, starring Barry Keoghan (“Saltburn,” “The Banshees of Inisherin”), and produced by the brand’s in-house creative team. For its 10th Super Bowl ad in 2024, Squarespace worked with director Martin Scorsese on a “Hello Down There” spot, also produced by its internal creative agency.
