Bodyarmor's Flash I.V. Beverage Gets Caffeinated

Bodyarmor is introducing a ready-to-drink caffeinated beverage line with zero sugar.

The Coca-Cola hydration beverage brand is extending its Flash I.V. rapid rehydration beverage line with the launch of Bodyarmor Flash I.V. Caffeine Zero Sugar, positioning the new product as combining 95mg of caffeine with 2290mg of electrolytes per serving. Bodyarmor Flash I.V. Caffeine Zero Sugar is rolling out across retail stores nationally. It launches with two flavors: Pineapple Passionfruit and Watermelon Punch.

Bodyarmor is positioning the new launch as a functional beverage combining caffeine for “alertness and focus” with “functional hydration” benefits from electrolytes, along with added zing and B-vitamins which the brand claims “support a healthy immune system.” The brand also touts the product’s “better-for-you” formula as “naturally flavored and sweetened with no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or dye.”

The brand is promoting the launch of Bodyarmor Flash I.V. Caffeine Zero Sugar through a campaign running across OOH and social media, retail marketing activations, and sampling events across the country.

Last year, Bodyarmor introduced its first brand refresh with a “Choose Better” campaign introducing a new visual identity, while positioning the brand as a healthier alternative to competitors with more artificial ingredients.

Bodyarmor subsequently brought the “Choose Better” campaign to Canada last fall.

The brand previously had a ready-to-drink caffeinated hydration beverage line called Bodyarmor Edge, which was discontinued in recent years, following Coca-Cola’s acquisition of Bodyarmor in late 2021. Bodyarmor previously expanded the Flash I.V. brand with launch of the Flash I.V. Hydration Boosters powder stick line in 2023, and introduced a caffeinated version of the product in 2024.
