WPP has tapped holding company veteran Alex Hesz for the new role
of president-strategy and solutions and co-lead of the company new Strategy Architects Group.
The new group is designed to serve as a central strategy hub within the
company to help clients integrate their WPP-provided capabilities into tailored go-to-market solutions.

In addition to Hesz, the group is co-led by Ben Kay (who has been head
of planning at WPP and now also takes the title of president-strategy and solutions) and Antonis Kocheilas, global chief transformation officer at Ogilvy. They report to WPP
COO Devika Bulchandani.
Hesz, based in London, most recently served as global chief strategy officer at the Interpublic Group, now part of Omnicom. Earlier, he served
as Omnicom’s executive vice president, chief strategy officer. He also held strategic roles at Adam & Eve/DDB and was elevated to global chief strategy officer at DDB Worldwide in 2020.
