Otherway Adds To U.S. Expansion, Taps McCarthy As Head Of Design & Creative

Design-creative agency Otherway has hired Erin McCarthy as its first U.S. head of design & creative, part of the London agency's expansion into the American market. 

Based in New York, McCarthy reports to Javier Passerieu, U.S. president of Otherway. Before this, McCarthy most was creative director at Peloton. Her agency experience includes leading design teams at R/GA and Droga5, partnering with Google, Strava, Nike, Huggies and Dove. 

“Returning to the agency world feels like coming home, especially to a place where brand design and creative thinking are so deeply embedded in the culture,” said McCarthy. “This is a team with exceptional craft, thoughtfulness and ambition.”

In her new role, McCarthy will lead design and creative across the agency’s growing U.S. portfolio, which includes Rocket, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Autodesk and Brooklyn Film Festival. She will also work closely with the London office.
