Mooney’s remit includes business development and integrating experiential
within CourtAvenue’s broader capabilities and client relationships.
He most recently served as executive vice president of sales and co-head of North America at WongDoody, where he
helped scale the agency as a part of Infosys. Infosys acquired WongDoody for a reported $75 million in 2018.
Mooney’s appointment follows CourtAvenue’s recent naming of Robin Freye as president and chief growth officer. He will work closely with Freye to align growth strategy across experiential, commerce,
media, data and AI-powered capabilities, according to the company.
He will report to Gigantic Playground Founder and CEO Michael Maginnis.
Gigantic Playground
helped launch Alexa+ last year as the experience Agency of Record for the Amazon Devices Retail team.
