Clear Channel Outdoor and media
company Footballco have partnered for the World Cup. That includes airing real-time content: scores and match results, tournament standings and breaking news.
The 2026 World Cup takes place
from June 11 to July 19. It marks the first men’s tournament hosted in the U.S. since 1994 and introduces an expanded 48-team format expected to drive record attendance and viewership.
Clear Channel Outdoor’s digital billboards and OOH channels reaches 65 million adults weekly, according to Geopath. That reach is a premium opportunity for brands during a key sports event.
Select brand partners will have the opportunity to integrate their messaging from Footballco’s flagship pub GOAL to Clear Channel Outdoor’s 70,000+ screens.
“Big
tournament moments resonate far beyond the pitch,” said Dan Levi, EVP/ CMO, Clear Channel Outdoor. “This partnership allows us to extend Footballco’s deep expertise, insights and
innovative online content from social media-driven fandom into the physical world. Our hope is to reflect the energy of the tournament in real time, connecting communities through a shared
passion for the world’s game.”

each month across North America, primarily through its GOAL. The alliance ensures WCHQ content will extend beyond owned channels to Clear Channel Outdoor’s digital network.
“Footballco’s mission is to bring fans closer to the sport and the stories shaping it,” added Jason Wagenheim, the company’s CEO.
