Omnicom Media has promoted Ellen Griffin to
Global Brand President of OMD. She succeeds George Manas, who shifted to the new role of Omnicom Chief Growth Officer shortly after the IPG acquisition was completed late last
year.
While the duties are the same, Manas held the title of Global CEO at OMD. Under the new Omnicom, the global CEO title has been
changed to global brand president for all of the Omnicom media agencies.

Griffin was previously OMD’s Global Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining OMD nearly
eight years ago she was Global Innovation director at sibling agency PHD Worldwide.
Word of Griffin’s promotion follows last week’s news that Bradley Rogers has
been appointed CEO of OMD USA. Most recently Rogers served as CEO of digital marketing company Red Ventures. Before that he was Global President and Chief Operating
Officer of MRM, a McCann unit now part of Omnicom via the Interpublic acquisition.
He succeeds Chrissie Hanson who is returning to Dentsu’s
Carat as NA CEO and Global Brand President.
