
Kira Montgomery has
enlarged her remit for Anomaly. The agency has expanded her charge from Toronto to encompass its North American business. Her new title is executive strategy director, head of communications strategy,
North America.
The agency's model rests on an overarching belief: Everything is media.
Montgomery joined Anomaly Toronto four years ago and built the office's comms strategy practice.
Her work includes Budweiser's "It's not the same without your Buds" and "Kings of Zero," as well as Michelob Ultra's "Ultra Hole Challenge."
Before Anomaly, she was partner/chief
connections officer at creative agency Juliet.
"Kira finds the angle no one else is looking at," said Candace Borland, CEO of Anomaly Toronto. "When everyone's watching the obvious story,
she's already building the strategy around what they're missing."
Separately, the agency just opened an office in Paris. Mehdi Benali and Olivier Aumard will lead the operation as CEO and
CCO, respectively.
Anomaly has additional offices in New York, London, Toronto, Shanghai and Berlin.
