Richard Bush has been appointed
Fig's first Chief Platform Officer. He is charged with driving StoryData, the agency’s proprietary creative intelligence platform, and managing the expansion of StoryData Labs, a
new division that will revamp the platform into a next-gen AI-powered entity.
Based in New York, he reports to creative chair Mark Figliulo.
“Richard is exactly the kind of
leader we built Fig to attract. He’s deeply technical, entrepreneurial and proven at scaling what’s next,” said Figliulo. “We’re accelerating a model that already
delivers senior-led impact for our clients,” adding Bush's experience “makes him the perfect person to advance our capabilities and help solve the creative intelligence
gap.”

StoryData combines creative, consumer, media and business data to help brands optimize performance before and after launch.
A three-decade ad vet, Bush led
the team behind WordAds at Iponweb, later acquired by Criteo, as well as holding senior roles at AdTech and president-CPO of NYIAX, an ad fintech. He also co-founded three AI and emerging
technology companies in the past three years: Chainfuelz, Sphyr and Askmymgmt.
“We’re entering an age where authentic human storytelling actually matters again. With so much
content across every channel, the brands that win are those whose stories genuinely resonate. The opportunity now is to build the agent-driven interface that turns creative intelligence into insight
teams can actually use. That’s the generational shift I’m here to build,” he said.
Fig's creative work includes Publix, Naked Smoothies and Benjamin Moore.
