Top FAST Shows Still Smoking: 'Gunsmoke,' New And Old Titles

Current and long-time library programs continue to dominate viewership on FAST (free ad-supported, streaming television) platforms.

In a seven-month period from October 2025 to April 2026, the TV series with the most-streamed minutes on FAST platforms was “Gunsmoke” -- with 22.5 billion minutes on Paramount Skydance’s Pluto TV, according to data from Peer39, a digital media data research company.

“Gunsmoke” aired 20 seasons from 1955 to 1975, with 635 episodes.

Other top-ten FAST shows include current TV show titles that are still on the air: “NCIS” (at 18.2 million, Pluto/CBS), “Grey’s Anatomy” (14.8 million, ABC.com), “Tracker,” (8.3 million, Pluto/CBS), “SpongeBob SquarePants” (11.6 million, Pluto) and “Family Guy” (7.2 million, FX).

Another older TV series that is no longer on the air is “Blue Bloods,” (cancelled in 2023) at 12.4 million (CBS/Pluto), “Young Sheldon” (cancelled in 2024), 10.9 million (Tubi/Pluto) and “Little House on the Prairie” (cancelled in 1983)  at 8.1 million on Pluto.

The research from Peer39 did not fully identify the specific seasonal episodes available for all these shows.

Looking at prime-time shows on major TV networks, Peer39 says that as of April 2026, all of CBS' current 25 titles are available on its FAST-owned platforms (Pluto/CBS).

Fox has 11 of 20 shows on Tubi, while NBC has 14 of 22 titles (NBC.com free tier) and ABC has 16 of 20 (ABC.com free tier).

Peer39 says NBC.com and ABC.com offer the five most recent episodes of its shows with advertising.
