The Arketi Group has acquired
Sperling, a digital-marketing agency outside Boston. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Sperling’s expertise is paid digital campaigns, social-media strategy, site design
and UX/UI branding. The agency also expands Arketi’s AI capabilities. Its client roster
includes Keolis, Brunswick School and Legacy Lifecare.
“Most agencies are still treating AI as a standalone offering or an experimental add-on,” said Mike Neumeier, CEO
Arketi Group. “Sperling has done the harder thing. They’ve built real technical depth in how AI integrates into marketing and customer experiences.”
As part of
the Arketi platform, Sperling clients gain access to broader capabilities, including crisis and internal communications, alongside branding, digital marketing and interactive services.

“This partnership makes sense from a culture perspective and a business perspective,” said Mike Sperling, president of Sperling. “This gives us a solid Eastern Seaboard presence
from the South to New England that we can heavily leverage to fuel our growth.”
The addition of Sperling marks Arketi’s second strategic expansion in recent weeks, following the
addition of Braithwaite Communications in Philadelphia. All reinforce Arketi’s digital-marketing platform. Arketi's client list includes Cantaloupe, Cox Communications and Mitsubishi Electric
Trane HVAC US.
Neumeier said agency integration will be a joint effort. No staff layoffs or leadership changes are anticipated. “The communications and marketing landscape is evolving
rapidly, and clients increasingly need partners that can bring together strategic communications, digital marketing, technology, creative and AI-driven capabilities.”
