Omnicom has retained and expanded its media AOR duties with Uber, extending
a relationship that began in 2023. And WPP Media has retained its APAC remit following a regional pitch there.
Under its renewed agreement, Omnicom Media will continue to oversee media
responsibilities across North America, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Latin America. It also adds Brazil to its assignment, following the review.

Uber spent an estimated $880
million on media last year, according to agency research firm COMvergence. Spend by region: NA, $490M, EMEA, $210M, APAC, $140M and LATAM, $40M
The retention follows Uber’s decision in May
to add sports marketing responsibilities to Omnicom’s purview.
Omnicom became the rideshare giant’s primary media agency following a review in 2023, unseating WPP in the
role.
Both ad groups confirmed their assignments following the latest review. Uber didn’t respond to a request for comment.
