Ad agency L&C announced today that co-founders Gian Carlo Lanfranco and Rolando Cordova have repurchased Serviceplan Group’s minority stake in the agency, returning L&C to full founder ownership.

The transaction gives its founders full control over the company’s strategy, investments and growth. Financial terms are not disclosed.

Serviceplan Group acquired a minority stake in L&C in June 2023. The partnership connected L&C with the Group's global network, talent and integrated capabilities during a formative period in the agency's growth. During that time, L&C was named Independent Network of the Year at the 2025 Cannes Lions creative festival.

Lanfranco and Cordova founded the agency in 2019 with offices in New York and Lima, Peru. They share the title Chief Creative Officer.

“We've always thought of L&C as the creative equivalent of a great street-food stand, said  Lanfranco. "It's not about having the biggest building behind you. It's about making something so good that people keep coming back for it."

He added that buying back full ownership "brings us to being fully independent again. We’re ready to keep doing what we love most: creating bold ideas with the optimism and entrepreneurial spirit that got us here.”

New clients over the past year include Turo, Visible by Verizon, Navan, EOS, SKYN, and Tiffany & Co. The agency said it also tripled revenue during that time although the figure was not disclosed.

Looking ahead, the agency says it will redouble business development efforts in the U.S. and expand its footprint in Latin America.
