The Digital Place-Based Advertising Association has unveiled the initial
speaker lineup for its annual "Video Everywhere Summit" taking place on October 13 in New York. This year's theme: "Real Connections."
High on the list of notables is Anthony Scaramucci, the
founder and managing partner of financial firm Skybridge who briefly served as White House Communications Director during the first Trump administration. (In fact his tenure was a record short 10
days, July 21-31, 2017).

He is scheduled to have a "fireside chat" with DPAA President & CEO Barry Frey. One likely topic: Scaramucci's soon-to-be-published
book, "All The Wrong Moves," about what he believes were three big presidential blunders.
Others taking the DPAA stage this year include:
“As we espouse the impact brands can make by connecting with consumers in the real world, we must also take advantage of every face-to-face
connection we are able to make," stated Frey. "This includes the marketers controlling ad spend; the agencies shaping their media plans; and the technology, data and research organizations coming up
with new ways to innovate, execute and measure the outcomes that DOOH uniquely brings.”
The agenda and other speakers will be announced later.
DPAA says the conference
is expected to draw about 1,000 attendees.
