The partnership with Kin is intended to build awareness for its work with potential donors stateside. Kin will lead strategic development,
creative and production, as well as media planning, buying and reporting for Sightsavers' US debut campaign which is set to launch this fall.
Kin was selected following a formal review. "Kin
stood out for their ability to understand not just our mission, but the specific cultural context and audience we're trying to reach in the US," said Natasha Kennedy, director of campaigns and
communications at Sightsavers. "We needed a partner who could translate our global impact into a narrative that resonates with American donors.”
Kin, with offices in New York and Los Angeles
has worked with companies such as Delta Air Lines, Wikipedia and the Obama Foundation.
