Sex sells, but does fauna-on-fauna love titillate, let alone sell a bubbly orange-flavored beverage? It might in France, and Orangina is getting in on the (beastial) act. FFL Paris created a TV and print campaign for Orangina that is laden with inter-animalistic urges, sexual innuendo and pop culture references. A doe swinging in a forest while drinking Orangina awakens a bear's lustful feelings in the TV spot. The two escape to a fantasy world where inter-animal dirty dancing surrounds them and the doe is doused with Orangina à la Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. But that's not all: Exploding cannons of Orangina douse a rabbit, a panda endures a wardrobe malfunction, and an octopus uses its tentacles and chest to squeeze orange juice. Print ads take on a pinup feel, using animals and flowers to convey Orangina's juiciness. "I guess it goes without saying that when you get the opportunity to spray Orangina all over the chest of a sexy bunny girl, you go for it," said Todd Mueller, creative director and cofounder of Psyop, one of the agencies that produced the TV ad. Uh, yeah.
