Luxury automaker Infiniti, a division of Nissan Motor, will launch a high-end version of its 2009 G Convertible exclusively through the 2008 Bloomingdale's holiday catalog, which lands in mailboxes
of some 700,000 U.S. homes on Thursday. The new G Convertible debuts at the Los Angeles auto show mid-November.
The book will feature an eight-page reveal of the Infiniti G
Convertible and reservation program for the Premier Edition that features Monaco red-leather-trimmed interior with hand-crafted, red-stained Maple Wood Trim, and a special grille and 19-inch aluminum
wheels.
Nissan says that neither Infiniti or Bloomingdale's has promoted a vehicle through this medium before. Only the first 199 consumers on a first-come, first-serve reservation list get the
car. The companies say a dedicated phone line goes live on Nov. 10 at noon CST.
Also, Infiniti will have G Convertible cars in four Bloomingdale's stores from Dec. 10 through Jan. 10.--Karl
