• ANDREW BENETT: Euro RSCG Worldwide's
    ANDREW BENETT has been named executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Euro RSCG Worldwide's New York office. Benett will oversee the design and implementation of a wide range of initiatives to support clients' business and brand strategies and Euro RSCG's Creative Business Idea positioning. Benett joins the company from IPG's FutureBrand, where he has served as executive director, strategy and innovation, since 2003. His clients included MasterCard, Verizon Wireless, and Wendy's International.

    Active International has promoted LESLIE MOSES to vice president of its publication trade development group. Moses joined the company four years ago as a vice president in the print media department.
  • DOUG PULICK: Regal CineMedia
    Regal CineMedia has promoted DOUG PULICK to senior vice president, research and analysis. Prior to joining Regal CineMedia in 2002 as vice president, research, Pulick was the vice president of Discovery Networks’ sales research department, overseeing the media research for six analog and six digital cable networks.

    Giant Magazine has named RENEE IFILL the director of marketing. In this position, she will be in charge of branding and promotional events for the magazine. Most recently, she served as director of promotions and events at Vogue and creative service director at GQ.

    KATHRYN KOEGEL, research director of DoubleClick has left the company. While no replacement has been named, RICK BRUNER, research manager, DoubleClick, has taken on additional research responsibilities.

    Time Inc. has made some recent promotions in its sales department. JOHN MEYJES has been promoted to account representative of This Old House, up from account manager of Travel & Leisure.MATTHEW SESSIONS has been elevated to account manager, Sunset Magazine, from account executive, Northern California, Media Newtworks Inc. (MNI), Time Inc., Time Warner. Lastly, TIM RICHARDS has been named vice president corporate sales Northwest Region, Time Inc. San Francisco. Most recently he was division manager, Fortune magazine.

    JILL GRIFFIN has joined Media Contacts, the interactive arm of MPG, as senior vice president, group account director. She will be responsible for leading Media Contacts’ operations in New York and San Francisco, as well as overseeing clients ING Direct, Air France, and Comedy Central, among others. Most recently, Griffin was associate director of strategy for OMD Digital, where she led strategy for the GE PEN campaign, as well as the John Kerry for President, Dannon, HBO, NYC212, and Nokia Hispanic online efforts.

    United Virtualities has hired KAREN MURPHY to be the rich media firm’s East Coast sales director replacing PAUL WEINRIB who left the company. Murphy joins United Virtualities from BostonHerald.com where for the past year and a half she was the director of business development.
  • AKQA: PJ PEREIRA
    PJ PEREIRA, president of the 2005 Cyber Lions jury for the Cannes International Advertising Festival, has joined AKQA as executive creative director. He previously was vice president and creative director of AgenciaClick in Brazil.
