  • REVOLVING DOOR: Rauxa Hires Debrianna Obara As SVP, Media
    Rauxa, an independent, brand marketing agency with offices in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta and Orange County, hired Debrianna Obara as senior vice president, media. A newly created role, Obara will be responsible for overseeing and developing Rauxa’s media practice. She joins the agency from Razorfish, where she most recently oversaw media and search for the West Coast—working with clients such as Best Buy, Holland America, and Genentech. Prior to that, Obara worked at agencies like Draft Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, and ID Media in multimedia planning. Obara will work out of Rauxa’s headquarters in Orange County.

    Nasima Sadeque joined Doremus New York as NY regional chief financial officer and global controller, a new title at the agency. She was formerly vice president of financial at STAR Marketing Services Group as. Sadeque reports to Vera Trulby, COO-CFO of Doremus. In addition, Mitchell Tan joined Doremus Greater China as managing director. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Richard Beccle, group managing director, Doremus Asia-Pacific. Tan was formerly a consultant for many Fortune 500 companies, and also worked with global agencies such as Leo Burnett, DDB and Bates.
  • REVOLVING DOOR: Goodby Silverstein & Partners Promotes Tod Puckett To Director of Broadcast Production
    Tod Puckett elevated Goodby Silverstein & Partners as director of broadcast production, replacing Cindy Fluitt, who, after 25 years at the agency, is retiring. Puckett joined the agency 20 years and was named an associate partner in 2012. Puckett has created award-winning TV campaigns for clients such as Budweiser, the California Milk Processor Board, Comcast/XFINITY, E*TRADE, Hyundai, Isuzu and Porsche. USA Today named his spot “Monkey” for E*TRADE one of the ten best Super Bowl ads of all time.

    Partners + Napier hired Julio Soler as integrated producer. He joins the agency from the Barbarian Group, where he worked as senior producer on Bacardi and Samsung. At Partners + Napier, Soler will work across offices in Rochester, NY, and New York City on various agency accounts. He previously worked as executive producer at Tribal DDB on integrated campaigns for Intel, Reebok, Phillips and Diageo, among others. Soler also held interactive production roles at Barnes & Noble, Razorfish and THINK New Ideas.
  • REVOLVING DOOR: DigitasLBi Hires Chris Reed To Lead Whirlpool Account
    DigitasLBi named Chris Reed as executive vice president of account management in Chicago to lead the agency’s Whirlpool account. Reed will report to Douglas Ryan, President, DigitasLBi Chicago and San Francisco. Most recently he served as client services director at Energy BBDO, leading both the Wm. Wrigley Jr. and PepsiCo/Quaker Oats businesses. In this role, Reed led the revival of the Life Savers brand in 2008, winning Bronze at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and “Fan Favorite” at The One Show. Prior to that, Reed held positions at Y&R, Euro RSCG, and JWT.
