Boston-based social networks are plentiful. That's what we've discovered over the past week, after a slew of social network founders reached out following an earlier post about seven social networks headquartered in the area. Here are 10 more, bringing the list of Boston-based social networks to almost 20. This list includes a social network devoted to achieving personal milestones, one for online gamers, and another for physicians.

Localytics, a Boston-based firm offering mobile app analytics and marketing, announced Tuesday it raised $16 million in Series C funding led by Silicon Valley-based Foundation Capital. Total funding for the company is now $25 million. The money will be used to "accelerate investments in product development, sales and customer service, and to fuel international expansion," according to a news release.

Four people from Cambridge startup LoopIt, including founder Andrew Lau, are joining Boston ad tech firm Nanigans. LoopIt had received an undisclosed amount of funding from Avalon Ventures and Redstar Ventures. In a news release, Redstar Ventures managing director Matt Beecher called the merger a "successful early exit for one of our first operating companies." LoopIt was the first company to launch out of Cambridge-based Redstar Ventures, in January 2013.

Bianca de la Garza announced Tuesday she is leaving WCVB-TV (Channel 5) to develop an entertainment and lifestyle show that will air on the ABC affiliate. De la Garza, who has worked at WCVB since 2007, said she is producing the show with her new company Lucky Gal Productions. In a statement, station GM Bill Fine said de la Garza will leave WCVB's "EyeOpener" newscast at the end of May. Her successor has not been named.

As if the thought of raising $1 million on a crowdfunding site isn't alluring enough, now there's this: Dragon Innovation said Monday that it will start giving an extra $100,000 to startups that raise seven-figure sums on its website. The money could help a young company grow its team or pay its rent - expenses that crowdfunding dollars may not cover because they are dedicated to producing whatever the new gadget is, said Dragon founder Scott Miller.

Fallon Community Health Plan, the Worcester-based health care insurer, said it is shortening its name to Fallon Health and launching a new ad campaign as part of a rebranding effort. The new advertising campaign is Fallon Health's first work from DeVito/Verdi, the New York ad agency it recently hired. The campaign, which focuses on Fallon Health's insurance and senior care solutions, is made up of TV, print, radio, digital, and outdoor media ads. The campaign seeks to showcase Fallon Health's expertise in bridging the gap between the medical care that people require and the personal care that they want.

ADT Corp., a provider of electronic security, interactive home, and business automation and monitoring services, said it is unveiling a new campaign created by Boston ad agency Arnold Worldwide that represents a shift in the brand's marketing approach.

Aereo, which offers live broadcast TV and DVR over the Web in 11 U.S. markets including Boston, will expand to its next region on Feb. 19 with the addition of the Greater San Antonio region. Aereo membership, already available in the Houston area in Texas, will be available to consumers residing in an additional 22 counties in the state in the area of San Antonio. The company is headquartered in New York City, but has 70 of its 105 employees at an office in Boston.

By 2016, mobile testing and monitoring firmPerfecto Mobile expects to be a "very large company" - and possibly a publicly traded one, founder and CEO Eran Yaniv said in an interview with the Boston Business Journal. As in, $100 million in annual revenue that year for the Woburn, Mass.-based company, he said. "We're thinking we can ... go so far as an IPO" as soon as 2016, Yaniv said.
