Another major policy prescription is the reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act, which separated commercial, investment and insurance branches of the same bank. Glass-Steagall was repealed under President Clinton in 1999.

Gov. Mitt Romney, GOP nominee in 2012, has said that Jeb Bush’s problems this cycle have to do with his brother’s troubled presidency and general aversion to the Bush dynasty. Jeb has hit back at the comment, saying that if you look at the polls, his brother George W. is probably the most popular president among Republicans.

Politico went through a slew of political ads (both federal and statewide) that appeared in 2015 and picked the 10 most notable. presidential spots that made the list. They included Ted Cruz’s Christmas stories with his family and Donald Trump’s Instagram video ad attacking Jeb Bush for being low energy. Ads in support of Ben Carson and Rand Paul, as well as one attacking Hillary Clinton, also made it onto the list.
