Only two Republican electors voted against Trump, both from Texas. In fact, more “faithless electors” appeared on the Democratic side, where Democratic electors in Washington, Minnesota, Maine, Hawaii and Colorado did not vote for Clinton.

Among other topics, “Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella brought up perhaps the most thorny issue: Immigration and how the government can help tech with things like H-1B visas to keep and bring in more talent,” Swisher reports. “Nadella pointed out that much of the company’s spending on research and development was in the U.S., even if 50 percent of the sales were elsewhere, so that immigration would benefit those here.”

Twitter was notified that it was “bounced” from the meeting, and Trump adviser Sean Spicer said “the conference table was only so big.” A source for Politico has a different explanation: Twitter’s rejection of the #CrookedHillary emoji was the main reason for the exclusion.
