'True Blood' Bites Into HD Outdoor Campaign

CBS Outdoor says it has started the world's first high-def outdoor video poster for the new season of HBO's "True Blood." 

The "video two-sheet," part of HBO's "True Blood" campaign to kick off its third season, sits in New York City's Times Square subway station -- one of the most heavily trafficked subway stations in the world.

Moving beyond the current explosion of digital video screens, HBO's "True Blood" will offer commuters a short video preview of the show on 10-inch LCD screens; they are embedded with audio in a traditional two-sheet wall poster.

David Lane, vice president of digital media for CBS Outdoor, stated that the "combination of digital media and print gives us the opportunity to create unique, personal and engaging experiences for the consumer on behalf of our clients."

Lane lauded bringing the innovative digital media formats to market, "which will enhance our client's campaigns."
