The California Travel and Tourism Commission has refreshed its "Friends in High Places" TV campaign to highlight California's skiing and snowboarding locales.
New scenes star Olympians
Julia Mancuso, Shannon Bahrke and Errol Kerr -- all of whom grew up on the slopes of Lake Tahoe. The ad also showcases the diversity of activities that California's snow areas offer, like dog
sledding, tubing and ice skating, plus after-ski restaurants and nightlife.
A second spot, "Good Life," focuses on wine and food. New scenes have been added to the spot that feature well-known
chefs Michael Chiarello and Giada de Laurentiis, as well as racecar driver-turned-winemaker Randy Lewis. The new scenes feature Malibu and wineries in Yountville and Deer Park, both in the Napa
Valley.--Tanya Irwin
