Southern Comfort Mardi Gras Promo Taps Foursquare

Brown-Forman's Southern Comfort brand is celebrating its roots during Mardi Gras with a billboard in the New Orleans French Quarter that invites revelers to use Foursquare check-ins to to enter a sweepstakes.

The sweeps, which can also be entered through the spirit brand's Facebook page, offers a grand prize of a trip to next year's Mardi Gras ("Come Back Next Year with Your Own Krewe").

The effort was created by Arnold Worldwide and Minneapolis brand design firm Cue.
