Mountain Dew Launches 'Call of Duty' Tie-Ins

PepsiCo's Mountain Dew, a favorite among the young male gaming crowd, is making the most of that with new promotional tie-ins with Activision Publishing's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" game.

Starting in October, specially marked Mountain Dew varieties will include codes enabling the game's players to unlock double XP (experience time).

The brand is also re-introducing Mountain Dew Game Fuel --a citrus cherry flavor that was a hit with gamers -- and adding a new tropical flavor of the Fuel that was "created in collaboration with the 'Call of Duty' team specifically for 'Modern Warfare 3'," says PepsiCo.
