College football fans, rejoice. Those who want to hear the live play-by-play of every single bowl game played during the 2011-2012 college football postseason will do so on Sirius XM Radio, which is planning its first comprehensive coverage of the bowls -- that means 35 games, including the BCS National Championship, the Rose Bowl, Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Discover Orange Bowl, and Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Coverage started with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on Dec.17, and is set to continue through Jan. 9, when top-ranked LSU faces No. 2 Alabama in the Allstate BCS National Championship game.

Fans can catch up on all the goings-on at SiriusXM’s College Sports Nation, which will relocate to New Orleans to cover the Allstate BCS National Championship game from Jan. 5-9.

During the live broadcast of the lead-up to the game and the game itself, hosts Jack Arute, Paul Finebaum, Eddie George, Mark Packer, Bill King and Chris Childers will interview LSU and Alabama players and coaches, cover pre-game practices and preview the game.

While Sirius XM has typically carved out a good amount of time for college football in the past, this is the first time the satellite radio broadcaster will carry every single bowl game. In 2009, XM acquired the rights to broadcast the FedEx Orange Bowl, the Allstate Sugar Bowl and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in a multiyear agreement with FOX Sports.

ESPN holds TV rights to the BCS under a four-year agreement that began with the 2010 season.
