Airwalk To Make N.Y. Skate Documentary

  • June 20, 2012

Airwalk, a youth-focused skate gear and lifestyle apparel brand has teamed up with Brooklyn-based creative agency, Project Fathom, to produce a documentary film, titled Already Famous, and launching a summer-long celebration of the urban skate community in New York.

Already Famous has created social networking platforms, an interactive microsite and a series of summer events designed to raise awareness of urban skate culture in the NYC boroughs. Throughout the summer, Already Famous will document several urban skate ambassadors and well-known skate community advocates through video, imagery and word -- all of which will be shared through the site and chronicled for the documentary film production, which will premiere this fall. Additionally, outdoor video wall projections, murals and postings will be placed around the city all summer to celebrate the urban skate movement.
