Kawasaki Motors, U.S.A. is going big with its global debut of its 2013 line of Ninja motorcycles in NYC's Times Square, Sept. 13. The company will stream a live feed of the reveal of their
latest motorcycles during the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The two-block display of motorcycles will be paired with an experiential program on
Broadway between 45th and 47th Street. There will be music, giveaways, and pro racers under the Kawasaki banner. Kawasaki’s marketing director Chris Brull said the lineup will include
both new and iconic Ninjas and sport bikes from the past, including the original 1984 Ninja and the 1973 Z1.
The company will also give away two new Ninja motorcycles.Among events will be a
stunt riding exhibition by former SPEED TV host Jason Britton, motorcycle drag race instruction from multiple winner of national championships Rickey Gadson, and a collection of free activities for
individuals and families.
The marketing director said the concept of the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” grew from internal discussions seeking different ways to bring the
company’s “Let the good times roll” philosophy to a broader audience.
