A key TNT
playoff game landed the top spot among all TV programs on a summer period Monday night.
The Eastern Conference finale of the NBA's Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers series posted a big-time 11.6
million overall viewers on TNT with a robust Nielsen 5.1 rating among 18-49 viewers -- well above earlier games in the series.
NBC's two-hour "The Voice" at 8 p.m. was in second place,
pulling in 11.3 million viewers and a Nielsen 3.3 rating/9 share among 18-49 viewers. This was a bit higher than last Monday's "Voice" edition at 11 million viewers and 3.2/9 among 18-49 viewers.
NBC pulled in with the third-best program of the night -- the season finale of "Revolution," which took in 6.2 million viewers and a 2.0/5 in the key demo at 10 p.m. This was about the same as
a week ago -- 6.3 million viewers and 1.9/5 among 18-49 viewers.
ABC's two-hour "The Bachelorette" at 8 p.m. came in with 5.7 million viewers and a 1.7/5 in 18-49 viewers -- down versus the
week before in its season premiere, which was at a 6.0 million viewers and a 1.9/5.
Among other new original programs, Fox offered a season premiere episode of "Anger Management" starring
Charlie Sheen from its FX cable network, which began airing the series a year ago. It came in with 1.7 million viewers and a 0.7/1 for its 9:30 p.m. time period.
At 8:30, Fox's "The Goodwin
Games" was at 1.6 million viewers and a 0.7/2 among 18-49 viewers -- about the same as its week-ago performance, which was at 1.4 million viewers and a 0.6/2 in the 18-49 demo.
ABC's new
summer soap "Mistresses" saw a modest 4.4 million viewers and a 1.2/3 in the demo for the 10 p.m. time period.
TNT also had the second-best-rated cable show on Monday night, its post-game
"Inside The NBA Playoffs" pulled in 4.4 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in the 18-49 demo. TNT's pre-game "NBA Playoffs Pre-Game" offered up a 3.5 million viewers and a 1.3 18-49 rating.
