Healthcare shop Sudler & Hennessey, a unit of WPP’s Young & Rubicam Group, has named George Liggett Chief Financial Officer for US operations.
Liggett is responsible for the financial health of all the U.S. divisions within the S&H network, including Sudler, Sentrix, IntraMed, HealthAnswers, Precept, Quality Matters, and Current Medical Directions. In addition to all aspects of financial management, he will be responsible for Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and IT functions for the group.
Most recently, Liggett served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at Publicis New York, with oversight of budgets, staffing, client contracts, and developing the financial infrastructure within the agency.
His
new role brings Liggett back to the WPP fold. Prior to Publicis, he held roles across several divisions within Young & Rubicam Group, including a stint as Chief Financial Officer for Y&R North
America, Global Client Finance Director, and Director of Business Affairs.
Sudler & Hennessey is a global healthcare marketing and communications organization with offices
around the world. The network includes two global communications agencies, Sudler & Hennessey and Sentrix Global Health Communications, with US headquarters in New York City.
