
Chipotle Mexican Grill is expanding and promoting its new partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) with a national contest.
Chipotle is the official fast-casual Mexican restaurant
sponsor of MLS.
The contest's winner will receive a trip for four to Portland, Ore. for AT&T MLS All-Star Week in August. The prize package includes passes to the week's events,
including the AT&T MLS All-Star Game and the newly launched Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game.
The Chipotle Homegrown Game will recognize and feature MLS's top homegrown players. The
partnership also includes Chipotle's sponsorship of 12 MLS teams, as well as a series of soccer clinics and online skills videos featuring MLS players.
Consumers can enter the
contest by texting the word "Homegrown" to 888222 by July 13. The winner, who will also receive All-Star Game and Chipotle merchandise and a coupon for a burrito party for 20 people, will be
chosen on July 14.
The contest is being promoted in Chipotle restaurants and on a Homegrown area of Chipotle's site.
