McDonald's Super Bowl Ad Sneak Peek Promises 'New Form of Payment'

McDonald's has released a teaser video for its 60-second Super Bowl ad — and "teaser" is certainly accurate in this case.

The 30-second sneak peek video shows several different customers laughing and expressing obvious surprise, interrupted only by a screen message stating: "This February, McDonald's will be randomly accepting a new form of payment."

It closes with a McDonald's server telling a disbelieving customer, "That is how much it is," followed by the brand's "I'm lovin' it" mantra. 

All of which is leading to speculation that the new "currency" has something to do with expressing love, in line with the QSR's series of new love-oriented ads from Leo Burnett.
