Horizon Media Lands New Analytics Chief Rick Watrall

As Big Data continues to drive agency agendas, Horizon Media has hired Rick Watrall to the newly created post of chief analytics officer. Watrall will lead the agency’s advanced marketing analytics team, tasked with gleaning actionable insights from data.

“Rick’s strong expertise in driving business performance through analytics will power the opportunity for data to be further infused across our strategy and activation disciplines,” said Bill Koenigsberg, president, CEO and Founder of Horizon Media. “His experience working with Fortune 100 companies will certainly prove to be an invaluable asset to Horizon as we continue to provide the best analytics solutions for our clients.”

While Horizon's appointment of Rick Watrall will be a measurable benefit to staff and clients, the extraordinary contributions of Brad Adgate and his Horizon colleagues to Media and Marketing Research over the past decade sets a high benchmark for knowledge and intelligence in the Advertising Industry.
"Analytics," and "Media Research" are separate, powerful and complementary disciplines.
Hats off to Bill Koenigsberg for assembling a truly impressive multi-faceted Information & Action Team to understand and improve the complex media and measurement environment and develop more and more tools to meet internal and client ROI needs.
    Good luck, Rick.
    Congratulations, Bill.

    Sincerely,
    Nicholas P. Schiavone
