Beach Body Ready Ad Banned

A controversial diet supplement advertisement featuring a slender bikini-clad model has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority because of concerns over misleading health claims. The ASA also launched an investigation into the Protein World advertisement to see if it breaches its “harm and offence” rules. The ad, which features the model alongside the line “Are you beach body ready?” received 360 complaints from the public and was regularly defaced by commuters on London underground.
