Digital experience design agency Critical Mass, part of Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services group, has hired Grant Owens, the former Head of Planning at Razorfish North America, as its
Chief Strategy Officer.
Owens, based in New York, will lead the strategy teams from across Critical Mass’ international offices. He will report directly to Critical Mass Chief
Executive, Dianne Wilkins. He also join’s the agency’s Global Executive Management Team.
Owens worked at Razorfish for more than 10 years. While there he was responsible for
digital strategy for clients such as Spotify, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Viacom, CBS Radio, BMW and CNN. Prior prior to Razorfish he was at Euro RSCG 4D.
"We spent a long time searching for
the right person to lead our global strategy team, so this is a long awaited and exciting appointment,” said Wilkins. Grant’s experience in building teams and obsession with amazing
strategically-driven work makes him the ideal person to take this critical leadership role within the agency.”
Owens added: “The industry is in need of a truly
customer-centric experience design leader, and that is CM’s sole focus.”
