Sendwithus Gains Litmus' Speedy Email Testing

Litmus announced a new partnership Tuesday with Sendwithus to bring real-time A/B testing to triggered and transactional emails.

Responsive design is a best practice in email marketing now that 53% of emails are opened on a mobile device, per Campaign Monitor. Yet many transactional emails such as order confirmations and shipping information are not optimized to be readable on every device.

Ironically, transactional emails are actually more likely to be read and engaged with by consumers. A recent Experian study revealed transactional emails are eight times more likely to be engaged with and generate six times more revenue when compared to traditional email marketing messages.

To offer a consistent customer experience, it’s imperative that all marketing messages within the email channel be branded and optimized to render on any device. Litmus and Sendwithus are attempting to solve this issue by integrating Litmus’ Instant Previews email testing software with Sendwithus’ Advanced Editor transactional email application

Triggered emails often contain information critical to customers such as order status, shipping alerts, and changes,” states Justine Jordan, vice president of marketing at Litmus. “Yet, prior to this integration teams sending these emails have not had the tools to quickly see how these emails will arrive in customers’ inboxes.”

Sendwithus customers now have the ability to access real-time analytics of their transactional emails and real-time design previews of what their emails will look like on over 40 different devices and applications. Additional features include HTML and CSS code testing to ensure all visuals load correctly and render beautifully, no matter where they are read.

Integrating the Litmus Instant API gives our users full control of their customer experience: an instant preview while editing, and a view of the email exactly as it appeared on the device the customer used," says Matt Harris, CEO and cofounder of Sendwithus.
