George Lois Forms New Agency With TransMedia

Just like the Energizer Bunny, he keeps going and going. Mad Men era graphic designer and ad man George Lois’s latest venture is a new advertising and PR agency called Lois TransMedia that’s being formed in partnership with PR shop TransMedia.

Lois didn’t come up with the energizer bunny concept, but he’s credited with numerous other “big ideas” including the “When You Got It Flaunt It” slogan for Braniff airlines. He’s also credited with putting Tommy Hilfiger on the fashion map as well as with creating the “I Want My MTV” campaign for the music network. He's also well known for a series of Esquire covers.

More of Lois’ past work can be seen here.

According to its creators, Lois TransMedia will have capabilities in traditional and internet advertising, marketing, public relations, social media, and film production, and will be the “creative wing” of the TransMedia Group PR agency.

Lois, 84, will run the new agency. TransMedia, based in Boca Raton, FL., was formed in 1981 by Tom Madden, a former NBC vice president.
