Havas Group said today that it intends to launch a third media-agency network using FullSIX Group—which it acquired last year for $75 million—at its core.
The new network will be called FullSIX Media and will join Havas Media and Arena Media in the holding company’s stable of media networks.
The company said that it would combine its existing Forward Media with FullSIX to round out the new offering, effective Sept. 1.
FullSIX Media will be led by Marco Tinelli, founder and CEO of the FullSIX Group, who orchestrated last year’s sale to Havas. along with Havas CEO Yannick Bollore. Tinelli will also join the Havas Media Group executive committee.
The new network will have a presence across Europe, Latin America and the U.S.
At the time of the acquisition, FullSIX was comprised of 16 different agencies with an array of digital, data and media capabilities. It employs over 600 people, 400 of them in France. Clients include Vodafone, Bayer, L’Oreal, and French pay TV channel Canal +, which is controlled by the Bollore Group, also parent to Havas.
