Campaign Monitor Partners With Microsoft, Launches Dynamics Integration

Email marketing company Campaign Monitor announced a partnership with Microsoft on Wednesday, launching Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics.

Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics is a product integration that allows Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers to accent their campaigns by leveraging Campaign Monitor’s email and marketing automation capabilities.

“CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics store vast amounts of information about a company’s customers,” says Kraig Swensrud, CMO of Campaign Monitor. “All of that data, such as name, gender, purchase history and other profile information can be applied to email marketing campaigns for a deeper level of personalization. When companies send more personalized and targeted email marketing campaigns, research has shown that they drive an 8X higher level of engagement, and ultimately, revenue.”

Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics incorporates customer data from Microsoft Dynamics to create personalized email marketing campaigns on a one-to-one level, so brands can better target and communicate with customers.

Additional product features include a drag-and-drop email builder, professionally designed email templates that render correctly on any mobile device, trigger-based marketing automation capabilities and engagement metrics.

This is not the first of Campaign Monitor’s partnerships, as the company also works with Salesforce, Shopify, Word Press and Google Analytics, among others. The partnership with Microsoft makes sense, considering Campaign Monitor’s strong emphasis on small- to medium-sized businesses.

“Microsoft Dynamics is a leading CRM company for small and medium-sized fast-growing businesses, which is squarely in line with the audience Campaign Monitor serves,” says Swensrud, adding that "all companies that store their customer data in CRM apps want to run targeted email campaigns that help grow their businesses.”

Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics is available for download online at no additional cost to customers. At this juncture, the integration only supports Microsoft Dynamics, but Swensrud says that an upcoming version will support the soon-to-be released Microsoft Dynamics 365.
